Nesta semana (de 25 até 29 Outubro) esta acontecendo a “Semana da Tecnologia | Jogos Digitais 2010” na PUC-SP e ontem (26/Outubro) alguns dos desenvolvedores do HTR estiveram lá falando sobre “Desenvolvimento e Mercado de Jogos para iPhone”
This week (from 25 to 29 October) is happening “Week of Technology | Digital games 2010” at PUC-SP and yesterday (October-26) some HTR developers was there talking about “Development and Games Market for iPhone”

A atualização contendo a pista do campeonato da versão iPhone esta quase pronta (confira as imagens abaixo). Na próxima semana iremos iniciar os testes dos seguintes recursos que formam implementados:
- Criação de conta na comunidade Phatyaffle.com; (caso jogador já tenha uma, poderá usar no jogo)
- Autenticação de jogador via comunidade Phatyaffle.com;
- Download da pista do campeonato;
- Visualização do ranking por dentro do jogo;
Assim que todos os testes forem feitos iremos enviar para Apple a atualização, que geralmente leva uma semana para disponibilizar para download, sendo assim acreditamos que no inicio da segunda semana de Novembro já iniciaremos o campeonato. Um pouco antes disto as regras já estarão disponíveis aqui e no site oficial do jogo – htr.phatyaffle.com

The update with the new track of championship for iPhone version is almost done (see the images below). In the next week we are going to start the tests of the following feature that was implemented:
- Creating a new account into Phatyaffle.com community; (if the player already have one, he can this account in the game)
- Player authentication by Phatyaffle.com community;
- Download of the championship track;
- Leaderboard inside the game;
After all tests we will send the game for Apple, usually take a week to be available for download on Apple Store, so, we believe the start of the championship should be in the second week of November. A little bit later of this, the rules going to be available here and in the official website – htr.phatyaffle.com

HTR registrou na ultima semana mais de 57k downloads. Até o momento 182k downloads do HTR entre todas as versões.
O destaque da última semana foi a Coréia com mais de 37k downloads das versões HTR EX.

Estaremos enviado na próxima semana a atualização do HTR iPhone para Apple contendo a pista do campeonato e o Learderboard integrado com Phatyaffle.com
HTR had in the last week more than 57k downloads. Until now we have more than 182k downloads among all versions.
The last week highlight was South Korea with more than 37k downloads of HTR EX versions.

We´ll be sending in the next week an update for the iPhone HTR to Apple containing the championship track and the Leaderboard integrated with Phatyaffle.com
HTR High Tech Racing EX (extended) versão iPhone e iPad já esta disponível para download, estas versões estendidas foram criadas porque alguns países como África do Sul, Coréia, Qatar, etc… Não possui a categoria jogos, então foi adicionado um novo nome para que fosse possível a publicação do HTR nestes países.
Registramos até hoje mais de 100 mil (e contando…) downloads do HTR entre todas as versões, nada mal para um jogo que esta a pouco mais de dois meses no App Store.
HTR High Tech Racing EX (extended) version for iPhone and iPad already is available for download, we did these versions extended, because in some countries, such as: South Africa, Korea, Qatar, etc… There is no category “games”, so it was added a new name to become available the publication of HTR in these countries.
We already have more than 100k (and counting…) download of HTR among all versions, not too bad for a game that have a little bit more than two month at App Store.

Com milhares de acesso diariamente o blog é o principal canal de acesso (no Brasil) para os usuários Mac, iPhone, iPod, iPad, etc… manter-se atualizados sobre tudo que esta acontecendo com os produtos Apple.
Blog specializing in the Apple world, published an article about HTR.
With thousand of acess per day the blog is the main informative channel (in Brazil) to users of Mac, iPhone, iPod, iPad, etc… keep up updated about everything that is happening with Apple products.
Um pouco mais de 8 semanas na App Store, HTR registrou mais de 70.000 downloads, sendo que deste número quase 10.000 downloads foram das versões pagas.
Ainda estamos trabalhando no campeonato, que com toda certeza irá gerar um número maior de vendas e também vamos fazer a versão multiplayers.
Consideramos que estes números são apenas de um único jogo (com várias versões) e no próximo mês vamos colocar mais dois novos jogos na App Store, estes números não estão nada mal.
Quando começamos a desenvolver o projeto, queríamos ter alguns dados concreto sobre o mercado de iPhone, por isso compramos uma analise do mercado de iPhone de uma empresa chamada FADE (http://fadellc.com/) e lá dizia que apenas 10% das Apps conseguem ultrapassar U$ 10.000 em vendas, conseguimos passar esta barreira e agora vamos buscar novas barreiras e por este motivo estamos em busca de investidores, o que você esta esperando?
Just a little more than 8 weeks on the App Store, HTR has more than 70.000 downloads, from these numbers almost 10.000 was from paid versions.
We´re still working on the championship, and for sure, will increase the sales numbers and we´ll still do the multiplayer version. Considering that these numbers are from just one game (with several versions) and in the next month we´ll put two more games on the App Store, they are not bad at all.
On the start of the project, we wanted some real data on the iPhone market, and for this we bought an iPhone market analisys from a company called FADE (http://fadellc.com/) and in there they said that only 10% of the Apps reach U$10.000 on sales, we go through this barrier and now we will reach for new ones, for this reason we´re seeking for new investors. What are you waiting for?
